In 1953, Primo Tallarida started a machining business in a chicken coop in a Massachusetts town. He named it Stoughton Tool & Die. From there he led the business for 32 years catering to the defense and aerospace industries. In 1985 he turned the business over to his sons. The company was renamed STD Manufacturing and in 1990 started down the medical device design, manufacturing and assembly road...Primo Medical Group was born!

Since those early days, Primo Medical Group has prided itself as being a leader in the field. Having recently celebrated 70 years in business we still hold true to our Customer Centric model. We stay true to our early beginnings of always answering the phone and working as a team to get answers for our customers. We also believe in "work hard and play hard."

You may have seen us at our booth at the MDM show dressed in costume. We take one day during the event and choose a theme to add a little fun to the event. It always draws a crowd and we have been doing it for over 24 years. Be sure to visit us this year at Booth 3011 to check us out.
