Since our founding in 2004, Medbio has grown into a leader in full-service medical manufacturing, offering customers in-house cleanroom molding, assembly and packaging, all as a certified ISO13485:2016 medical manufacturer and contract manufacturer.

Our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters includes three facilities totaling 115,000 square feet with engineering, quality and manufacturing departments. These cross-functional facilities offer the most comprehensive range of medical molded solutions and capabilities in the marketplace.

At Medbio, we have the ability to assist with major projects or small, custom programs, that can include everything from injection molding to micro molding, silicone injection molding, implant molding and two-shot molding services. We currently manufacture products for the major OEMs in orthopedics, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, neurological surgery, general surgery, wound care, oncology, biotech (diagnostics & cell growth) and dental. Throughout our 20 years of operation, we have continued to innovate and expand, acquiring several well-known medical manufacturers including Concept Molds, AIM Plastics and Polymer Conversions, Inc. (PCI).

Through these acquisitions we have gained even greater in-house tooling capabilities and the ability for rapid prototype-to-production, allowing us to partner with over 1,500 medical customers and the top 30 medical device manufacturers in the industry. In 2021, we combined the strengths of all our facilities under one name, solidifying our network of expertise and capabilities while building a scalable infrastructure that grows alongside our customers' needs. A year later, we joined forces with Caplugs Medical enabling us to offer the convenience of a catalog line of medical packaging and protection products available for immediate shipment.
